Registration and coffee 9:00 a.m. with meeting to start at 9:30 a.m. and will end at 3:00 p.m.  Lunch is provided.  This District meeting is important for Post 44 members to attend, especially newer members for two reasons.  First, most of the meeting is training on back to the basics of the American Legion.  The training will be done by Jim Talaska who is running the State Headquarters and is a great opportunity to learn about the American Legion, what it stands for and what you as a member can play an important part in at the Post level.  Second, this is a great chance to meet members from posts in Yampa, Hayden, Craig, Granby and Meeker.  SO PLEASE COME AND SPEND AN IMPORTANT DAY FOR LEGION MEMBERSHIP.
