Veteran Art Collective of Northwest Colorado
Our Vision
We envision a vibrant community across northwest Colorado where military veterans are empowered to express themselves through the transformative power of art. By harnessing creativity, we aim to foster healing, understanding, and connection among veterans, and with the broader public. We strive to become a regionally recognized collective that elevates veteran voices, honors their military experiences, and inspires creativity through artistic expression.

Our Purpose
The purpose of the Veteran Art Collective of Northwest Colorado is to provide a supportive and inspiring platform for veterans throughout northwest Colorado to create, showcase, and share visual arts.
Our goals are to:
- Promote mental wellness, resilience, and personal growth through creative engagement.
- Build a supportive network that fosters camaraderie and mutual encouragement among veteran artists in our local communities.
- Educate the public about the realities of military service and the unique perspectives of veterans through the arts.
- Collaborate with community partners and organizations in northwest Colorado to expand opportunities for artistic development and public engagement.
Our effort is similar to other veteran art programs, like the Veteran Art Council in Denver, Colorado, that was established in 2015. Through our collective efforts we collaborate with civilian art organizations and celebrate the creativity of veterans in northwest Colorado.
